About the Conference
Building on the success of our “Spring 2013 Global Health Conference,“ the UBC chapter of UAEM is proud to present the “Fall 2013 Global Health Conference.” The conference will both re-address issues presented in our previous conference, as well as introduce new information, events, and opportunities to both educate and promote action towards solving the access to medicines issue and global health crisis in general. The conference will consist of several presentations and a panel, involving speakers both new and returning, student-led presentations showcasing the work students are doing to address the issues surrounding global health, and an open space forum, where thoughts and ideas brought forth by the presentations are discussed among peers and guided towards fruition.
